Always Loved

Date:

What can I say on all of this?
When God has been always for me;
Who could be against as thus?
They would be too blind for to see.

God did not spare His only Son,
Rather handed Him onto death;
For the fact that the job was done,
Before taking on His last breath.

He conquered death for one and all,
And also give everything;
As His chosen we will not fall,
So death will not cause our sting.

As His chosen, who will accuse,
Since God has already approved;
Any chosen would they refuse,
When all your sin has been removed.

Christ died and was brought back to life,
Has the highest place in Heaven;
He endured the toils and strife,
Was awarded what was given.

As adopted, who will condemn,
Because Christ also intercedes;
Just those threatening to harm them,
While performing evil deeds.

What could separate us from love,
That Jesus has been sending down;
The blessings flowing from above,
Making a smile from a frown.

Can hunger or thirst build a wall,
A troubled mind causing distress;
Only His love will make it fall,
For with love it will surely bless.

You are being killed all day long,
Thought of as sheep to be slaughtered;
Not knowing the right and from wrong,
Your direction is not altered.

Remember that the Lord will guide,
Always loved and always valued;
As long as you always abide,
His love always be continued.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart. His love for Christ and God is an inspiration to all who read his poetry.
