Be Perfect

You did not want sacrifices,
Or burnt offerings for your sin;
Rather you have these devices,
To entertain not discipline.

The Lord does not approve of them,
But has done what you desire;
So that the Father not condemn,
Not as the precepts require.

Sacrifices are done away,
To establish obedience;
So you no longer go astray,
And no more showing deviance.

Because we have been set apart,
As holy on account of Christ;
God wanting to give a new heart,
For all in being sacrificed.

Each day a priest had done his deed,
He offered sacrifice the same;
But was not able to succeed,
Get rid of the sin to proclaim.

But one sacrifice has been made,
As a sacrifice forever;
By the Chief Priest that will not fade,
Not even Satan can sever.

The Holy Spirit says the same,
That this as being a promise;
God is making for to proclaim,
For all of us to take notice.

The Lord will put what He has taught,
Engrave them in your mind and heart;
Referencing what they have sought,
Will not be able to depart.

He will no longer hold each sin,
And disobedience against them;
A chance to regain discipline,
With no desire to condemn
