Hurry to visit me soon,
I have been abandoned;
At night I see the moon,
And my heart feels dampened.
Looking up in the sky,
Seeing the moon alone;
I only want to sigh,
How brightly it has shone.
The moon is much like me,
Complete dedication,
Its light that has to be,
Just like my salvation.
The day has so much heat,
But the night has been cold;
Evil tries to defeat,
As the truth does unfold.
The Lord will pay those back.
For evil deeds some have done;
Because the strength I lack,
As rescued by the Son.
Watch out for those who are,
Violently opposed;
They want to give a scar,
For the skeletons exposed.
Just God is my defense,
He will abandon not;
Shielding at His expense,
With refuge that I sought.
I pray that I will not,
Be held against such deeds;
Because of what God wrought,
Was not for growing weeds.
The Lord stood beside me.
Had given me the strength;
Showing others to see,
And on the same wavelength
