Faith in Christ

Praise God, Father of our Lord,
Who has given us a new birth;
And is beloved and adored,
As we sojourn on planet earth.

Because of His mercy and grace,
We have been born into new life;
Knowing He will always embrace,
While faced with the midst of strife.

In a new life we have been born,
With confidence that is alive;
As we continue to sojourn,
Here till Jesus Christ will arrive.

Hope and peace we will never lack,
As our faith endures the storm;
Until Jesus Christ does come back,
And bringing us into the norm.

For we have an inheritance,
That cannot ever be destroyed;
Through confession of penitence,
Corruption will not be deployed.

The inheritance is in Heaven,
And being guarded by the Lord;
It will be finally given,
When determined you have been cured.

Through faith in the power of God,
For salvation to be revealed;
At the end of time we applaud,
When the Book of Life is unsealed.

You are happy about these things,
Even though you have to suffer;
No matter what the trouble brings,
Hope and peace helps you to buffer.

But any trouble is to test,
As fire tests being real gold;
Seeing if you can do your best,
In the manner that God has told.

Even though you have never seen,
Faith is helping you to believe;
Knowing the truth of what has been,
Gives you hope what you will receive.
