Since we have confidence,
Within the new promise;
And having a good defense,
Speak a boldly premise.
We are not like Moses,
For to cover the face;
Rather faith to possess,
And having no disgrace.
He wants not some to see,
Glory fading away;
Closed minds that had to be,
Since they had gone astray.
Now new and improved,
Because of Jesus Christ;
For the veil is removed,
Who had been sacrificed.
The veil covers the mind,
And causing us to stray;
But now no longer blind,
Christ took the veil away.
The Lord is the Spirit,
Allowing us freedom;
If we do good merit,
We enter His Kingdom.
As all of us reflect,
Glory having no veil;
The Lord will not reject,
Forgive when we would fail.
Our image will change,
To look a lot like Christ;
And we have in exchange,
Help when we get enticed.
Glory comes from the Lord,
Along with His Spirit;
To live in one accord,
Honoring with merit.
Do not be discouraged,
Feeling shame and disgrace;
Rather be encouraged,
Through His mercy and grace.
