Fear Nothing

Who will harm you if devoted,
By doing everything good;
Your merit is duly noted,
For doing always as you should.

Even if you suffer to do,
All of the things that God approves;
God rewards for remaining true,
Shines favor upon that behooves.

Fear not on those who want to harm,
Anger not or become upset;
For God has a very strong arm,
That any foe would just regret.

Dedicate your life to the Lord,
Make Jesus Christ your Lord and King;
Your confidence is not ignored,
For the salvation it will bring.

Go and prepare to proclaim,
Always be ready to defend;
If someone asks you to explain,
Assist them for to comprehend.

Make your defense gentle and kind,
Giving them very much respect;
Explain to them to ease their mind,
So they easily not reject.

You need to keep your conscience clear,
So they see the good Christian life;
As your faith will present no fear,
And cause you not even more strife.

You will have contempt and feel ashamed,
That they ridicule with insults;
But it is better when proclaimed,
When you suffer from their assaults.

Since Christ suffered for our sin,
And He was an innocent man;
He hurt for our guilt within,
Which God had as part of His plan.

For His body was put to death,
But back to life through His Spirit;
When He was given renewed breath
To clean us from our debit.
