Jesus has been given duty,
Higher than to another priest;
For such a heavenly beauty,
While preparing for the feast.
He brings us a better promise,
From God on better guarantees;
That found something on the premise,
Bringing doubts to uncertainties.
The days are coming, says the Lord,
When a new promise will be made;
Not be rejected or ignored,
Be not hesitant or delayed.
When the Lord took them by the hand,
Promises had been rejected;
So then God ignored their demand,
Their lack of faith was reflected.
God put His teachings inside them,
Had written them upon their hearts;
Promising never to condemn,
For everyone who imparts.
So He will remain as their God,
While they will be His people;
As long as they honor and laud,
Always remember the Gospel.
No longer will each person teach,
While saying to know the Lord;
All of them will know through outreach,
Showing God is loved and adored.
For God will forgive and forget,
No longer hold sin against them;
He will cancel out any debt,
That would have been judged to condemn.
Since God has made a new promise,
The first promise was outdated;
Because we are all too precious,
For becoming so ill-fated.
What is outdated and aging,
Will be fading and disappear;
Trying not to be upstaging,
Rather worship as you revere.
