Imitate Me

Please pay attention,
And imitate me;
For my intention,
Is to help you see.

Live by example,
As given to you;
It is a sample,
Of my point of view.

For you have been told,
As I said in tears;
The rivals are bold,
Working on your fears.

The foes of the cross,
They do not like Christ;
Fret not for the loss,
Never been enticed.

They will be destroyed,
When we see the end;
The wrath is deployed,
No longer offend.

Their own emotions,
Are from their own god;
All their devotions,
To what is a fraud.

They are taking pride,
In the shameful things;
Comforting inside,
From pleasure it brings.

Their minds merely set,
On things with no worth;
Causing greed to get,
More shame here on earth.

We are of Heaven,
Here until the time;
When Christ has given;
The call to judge crime.
