Kindness

You need to be quick to listen,
Do not anger but slow to speak;
So you are able to glisten,
While you continue to seek.

An angry person does not do,
The things that God would approve of;
Remembering always be true,
While showing others your love.

Rid all immoral behavior,
Along with all those wicked things;
Humbly accept Christ as Savior,
And the salvation that He brings.

You must be doers of the Word,
Not merely as hearers only;
So take action what you have heard,
Remaining righteous and holy.

If anyone is a hearer,
But does not do what it would say;
Will not bring God any nearer,
Since they do not trust and obey.

They are merely like a person,
And sees their face in the mirror;
The wrinkles begin to worsen,
As many scars become clearer.

He studies a scaring feature,
Then he started to walk away;
Forgetting about a teacher,
That had taught him never to stray.

Those who continue to study,
Exactly what the Lord had taught;
Why Jesus Christ was all bloody,
And just what conclusion was sought.

Perfect teachings that make people,
Free and will remain committed;
To Jesus Christ and the Gospel,
So that they will be acquitted.

Pure and unstained, tongue in control,
For kindness is your best witness;
As His Spirit cleanses your soul,
To uphold spiritual fitness.
