Lasting Justice

Christ is His servant,
To whom God supports;
He prays so fervent,
Guiltless in the courts.

For the chosen One,
With whom God is pleased;
For Jesus His Son,
Sin has not diseased.

God put His Spirit,
On Christ in His heart;
With righteous merit,
The Word will impart.

God will bring justice,
To all the nations;
Putting on notice,
Of their relations.

God will not cry out,
Nor will raise His voice;
That His children doubt,
Wrong about pro-choice.

God will not be heard,
Spoken in the street;
In the church His Word,
No longer does greet.

God will not break off,
A damaged cattail;
Not to stop a cough,
That one would bewail.

God will not put out,
From a smoking wick;
Rather die from drought,
Which would be as quick.

Bring about justice,
That faith makes it last;
The Law is priceless,
For judgment to cast.
