Do not be afraid, God claims you,
You are His, calling you by name;
Assisting how you can construe,
Everything that you proclaim.
He is with you when out to sea,
Through the rivers not swept away;
Giving you insight as to see,
The direction for not to stray.
Walking through fire and not burned,
And not being harmed by the flames;
Because of the Lord you have learned,
Everything that God proclaims.
For He is the Lord our God,
The Holy One of Israel;
Your Savior to honor and laud,
From time of birth till burial.
The ransom for which in exchange,
For you He had to pay the price;
That assists you to rearrange,
Thoughts that continue to entice.
Because you are precious to Him,
You are honored since He loves you;
And does not want you to be grim,
As He will always be telling true.
God will exchange others for you,
Nations will be the price He pays;
For He cares what you say and do,
Blessings to who constantly prays.
He is with you so do not fear,
He brings your kinship from the east;
From the west bringing who is near,
As He is preparing the feast.
God says to the north, “Give them up,”
And to the south, “Do not keep them.”
Let sons and daughters drink the cup,
So that the Lord will not condemn.
Bring everyone with His name,
For His glory has formed and made;
Not for giving ourselves fame.
Rather the ransom that was paid
