Jesus was made lower,
Lower than the angels;
But was made hallower,
Than someone who humbles.
But we see Him as crowned,
With glory and honor;
For suffering and bound,
Death made Him a goner.
Through the kindness of God,
On the behalf of all;
He had died for each flaw,
Causing our downfall.
God is the one for whom,
Through whom all things exist;
But death causes the tomb,
To take where sins persist.
God brings sons and daughters,
To baptize in glory;
Through the living waters,
When right for your story.
For it was the right time,
To bring Jesus aboard;
And pay for our crime,
Making Him our Lord.
The source of salvation,
To the end of His chore;
With a firm foundation,
By the means of a cure.
Christ makes people holy,
Giving us a Father;
As our Lord solely,
Also as a Brother.
We must go and proclaim,
Throughout all our days;
Tell others of His name,
As we worship and praise.
Tolerate temptation,
Faith strengthens to resist;
Christ builds your foundation,
As desires persist.
