We know that if the life,
That we live here on earth;
Filled with struggles and strife,
Since the day given birth.
Our tent taken down,
But still have a building;
No matter to what town,
For faith you are yielding.
For an eternal home,
Awaiting in Heaven;
When we no longer roam,
That we will be given.
In our present tent,
Existence that we sigh;
But are staying content,
Through coping as we try.
We long to wear the house,
As to not to be nude;
Since Christ as our spouse,
With a spiritual mood.
We were feeling distressed,
Keeping the old one on;
To God I had confessed,
Both at night and at dawn.
Soon eternal life will end,
Existence as mortal;
For Jesus our friend,
Comes back through a portal.
God has prepared for us,
Has given His Spirit;
A guarantee as thus,
To what we inherit.
So we are confident,
Always of good courage;
That God has a new tent,
After we have crossed that bridge.
Whether we live in or out,
Life guides faith not by sight;
Our goal without doubt,
For glory that is bright.
