Some Things

I solemnly call on you,
In the presence of the Lord;
Who is going to be true,
That judgment is not ignored.

Those who are living or dead,
Will be done because of Christ;
Will come so we will be fed,
The bread of life sacrificed.

Be ready to spread the Word,
Heedless if the time is right;
Ensuring that it is heard,
Urging them into the light.

Point out their errors and warn,
About walking the wrong path;
Change their ways to be reborn,
So that they are spared the wrath.

Be patient and encourage,
As you guide in teaching them;
Caution not to discourage,
And not trying to condemn.

A time will come when people,
Will ignore what has been taught;
They will not follow the Gospel,
Forgetting what the blood bought.

Nothing what they want to hear,
Only to those who mislead;
They will listen to adhere,
Desires of lust and greed.

Some people will just refuse,
For listening to the truth;
Since they will falsely accuse,
Of others being uncouth.

But I have fought the good fight,
And kept the faith for winning;
The approval is the light,
Far away from the sinning.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart.
