The Grace of God

The Lord has filled me with joy,
That nobody can destroy;
You show interest in me,
From the insight that you see.

But you did not have a chance,
For showing it to advance;
Not saying of any need,
But effete to succeed.

I have learned to be content,
Far from torture and lament;
Whatever state I am in,
But know I am free from sin.

I may be poor or have wealth,
But still have my spiritual health;
Maybe I hunger and thirst,
But will share with others first.

I have been strengthened through Christ,
For all that was sacrificed;
Who saved me from the rubble,
From the times having trouble.

I do not look for a gift,
Just assistance to uplift;
But resources to increase,
To help with the expertise.

You have been totally paid,
So please do not be afraid;
Any time when things get tough,
Your faith is more than enough.

Gifts are a soothing fragrance,
While glory brings brilliance;
A sacrifice that God is pleased,
As He accepts and appeased.

God will fill every need,
Very richly to succeed;
Through Christ in a splendid way,
While we trust and obey.

Glory belongs to the Lord,
Who we have loved and adored;
Grace and good will be with you,
Remaining faithful and true.
