The Indwelling Trinity

Date:

The Indwelling Trinity
I kneel in front of the Father,
From whom all of the family,
Beside Christ who is my Brother,
And with His Spirit faithfully.

All family throughout Heaven,
And all over the planet earth;
The gift the Father has given,
Breathing life at the time of birth.

I pray that He would be giving,
You the inner strength and power;
Right through His Spirit for living,
For persevering through each hour.

A gift from the wealth of His glory,
So through faith Christ would live in you;
To explore new territory,
Along with wisdom to construe.

I also pray for His love abound,
To establish your foundation;
And sink roots deep into the ground,
For securing your salvation.

Because with all of His people,
You are able to understand;
How deep the love of the Gospel,
And loyalty God does demand.

You will know the love of Christ,
Which goes far beyond the knowledge;
Since love means to be sacrificed,
In faithfulness you acknowledge.

I am praying you to be filled,
Overflowing with His Spirit;
And so that you will be instilled,
Enable you to inherit.

Glory belongs to the Triune God,
Whose power is at work within;
To whom we must honor and laud,
As well as avoiding all sin.

By this power He can do more,
Far more than we ever conceive;
For through the church we know for sure,
Through our faith as we believe.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart. His love for Christ and God is an inspiration to all who read his poetry.
