I appeal to all your leaders,
Who know the suffering of Christ;
Also be spiritual feeders,
So you will be never enticed.
Share the glory that has been sealed,
By being shepherds of the flock;
For what that will soon be revealed,
Up into Heaven where you will walk.
Do not do this because you must,
Rather because of desire;
For it is in God that you trust,
And that you love and admire.
Do this with desire to serve,
Not for doing it out of greed;
Help others with the learning curve,
Showing them how to sow the seed.
So when the chief shepherd appears,
You will receive your glory crown;
He will then calm all of your fears,
Making a smile from your frown.
Serve others with humility,
God is pleased when you are humble;
Because it shows your agility.
Of never trying to grumble.
Arrogance will bring out the lies,
That fits the power of Satan;
But the Word of God is so wise,
And causing your faith to strengthen.
Turn all of your anxiety,
Over to the Lord our God;
Because of the perplexity,
Will cause you ending up as flawed.
Be alert and your mind kept clear,
Because the devil is your foe;
His roar will be used to strike fear,
At a time when you will not know.
Be firm in your as to resist,
And never try to be uncouth;
For the Lord is near to assist,
To respond with the Word of truth.
