Do not brag about tomorrow,
For knowing not what it will bring;
You could be finding much sorrow,
From the day before that may cling.
Praise should come from another man,
Never from your own mouth and lips;
Since they might have a better plan,
Who may be a stranger with tips.
Stones are heavy and weighs a lot,
Vexation is heavier of all;
As headache pain when deep in thought,
Could very well be your downfall.
Anger is cruel and overwhelms,
Turns to fury when crossing paths;
Which puts yourself in evil realms,
Since you will feel such painful wraths.
But who can survive jealousy,
When someone does better than you;
Tries to make you feel like a flea,
In the path that want to pursue.
But criticism can be better,
Than having an unexpressed love;
It may release any fetter,
That is holding you back thereof.
Wounds that had been made by a friend,
Better than a kiss from a foe;
They are intended in the end,
Show the direction you should go.
Someone full will reject honey,
But the one that hungers will eat;
Although he may have no money,
Even bitter food will taste sweet.
Like the bird flying from its nest,
So does the husband who will roam;
Seeing which lady is the best,
Finds out the best one is at home.
Perfume may make the heart glad,
But the fragrance of the forest;
Will make the mind wish that it had,
Live there rather than a tourist.
