We want not to be ignorant,
About the loved ones who have died;
And if might I sound arrogant,
Deep down I have extremely cried.

We do not want you start to grieve,
Like other people with no hope;
Rather we want you to believe,
That there is no loss as to cope.

We believe that Jesus Christ died,
And then He came back to life;
Although we saw Him crucified,
After suffering from all the strife.

That through Christ we also believe,
God will bring back those who have died;
Through their salvation they receive,
A new life through the crucified.

They will rise and all will come back,
Through Christ become resurrected;
Because of faith they did not lack,
There was no means to be rejected.

Concern not with those who sleep,
Sorrow not since they merely rest;
For when Christ returns they will leap,
And you will know they have been blest.

We are telling what the Lord taught,
Unto you the Word of the Lord;
After death just what has been sought,
But way too many have ignored.

Anyone who is still alive,
At when the Lord comes will not go;
Ahead of those He will revive,
Eternal life He will bestow.

The Lord will come down from Heaven,
When we will hear the trumpet sound;
All who salvation is given,
Shall see Him and be Heaven bound.

All of us who are still alive,
Will be taken into the clouds;
For we will be those who survive,
Destruction witnessed by the crowds.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart. His love for Christ and God is an inspiration to all who read his poetry.
