The divine power of God,
Giving us everything;
So you must honor and laud,
And thank Him what He will bring.
What we are needing for life,
Has been through His godliness;
And comforting through the strife,
Free flowing with blessedness.
For this power was given,
To us through the knowledge of;
The Blessed One in Heaven,
Whose integrity is love.
Through glory He has given,
Promises of high value;
Through these you share in Heaven,
Integrity that is true.
Through promises you will share,
Love in the divine nature;
You escaped the sin through prayer,
Lusts foreign to a new creature.
So make every effort,
By adding integrity;
Inside your faith to insert.
That will add to your knowledge,
Giving you more self-control;
Which your heart will acknowledge,
His Spirit is in your soul.
This will add endurance,
Which will lead to godliness;
Giving you perseverance,
Received through His blessedness.
It gives Christian affection,
Which will add brotherly love;
Protecting from affliction,
By your enemies thereof.
You know then Christ is living,
And is productive within;
Since His love is forgiving,
Cleansing all of your past sin.
