Your Worth

Your mind has to be clear,
And ready for action;
Because the time draws near,
For an interaction.

Put complete confidence,
Into the kindness of God;
So Christ be your defense,
For why you are so flawed.

Be children who obey,
Live not the kind of life;
So that you do not stray,
And cause you so much strife.

You lived to satisfy,
Of your own desires;
Continued to deny,
What rebirth requires.

But God had called on you,
To be holy this day,
Being faithful and true,
As you confess and pray.

If God is your Father,
Then you must be reborn;
Having Christ your Brother,
Living here to sojourn.

He is the God to judge,
Everyone on earth;
Not holding any grudge,
But knows of your true worth.

You have not been set free,
From this life handed down;
But Jesus paid the fee,
Wearing a thorny crown.

Payment made through the blood,
The lamb without blemish;
Rather than as a flood,
For sin to abolish.

So through Him you believe,
God had brought Jesus back;
For a path you receive,
Eternal life you lack.
