Do not be fooled or deceived,
For every perfect gift;
Any from Heaven received,
Given to you to uplift.
From the Father who had made,
The sun, the moon and the stars;
Give you a gift that will aid,
Avoiding any more scars.
The Father never does change,
Like the shifting of a shadow;
He will constantly arrange,
It as sacred and hallow.
God decided to give life,
Through the Word of the truth;
Though we toil with the strife,
We must never be uncouth.
His most important creatures,
That all of us as we are;
Deep down with godly features,
Each of us as a shining star.
You should be quick to listen,
And be very slow to speak;
For His Spirit did christen,
For you in becoming meek.
Do not anger so quickly,
Because God does disapprove;
It makes you feeling sickly,
Wickedness hard to remove.
Stop immoral behavior,
All the wicked things you do;
Humbly take Christ as Savior,
His Word is faithful and true.
Do not just listen to it,
That merely makes you a fool;
For what you do does merit,
Shines favor from who does rule.
