Praise the Father of our Lord,
For He is truly compassionate;
Show that He is loved and adored,
Abiding in no alternate.
He comforts us when we suffer,
Just as we comfort each other;
So it gets not any tougher,
By coping with one another.
For Jesus suffered even more,
So we can have comfort in Him;
And not making living a chore,
That we are glad rather than grim.
He brings comfort and salvation,
Through comfort suffering is gone;
For building our foundation,
And waking up to a new dawn.
That will be giving us new hope,
To tolerate as we endure;
So we will be able to cope,
With the promise having a cure.
God has given us confidence,
So that we are able to share;
And a wisdom as a defense,
After we have said our prayer.
For prayer is our vital link,
Building confidence that we need;
And will give us some time to think,
The ability to succeed.
We wonder about how we live,
How we continue to exist;
Since our Father will forgive,
From the mistakes that still persist.
Because we feel death at the door,
Hoping that we will be rescued;
Since suffering we still endure,
Through the life that we have pursued.
