In view of all we have shared,
On God and His compassion;
I urge you not to be scared,
Giving up satisfaction.
Make yourself a sacrifice,
Of your body as living;
Allow not the world entice,
Compassion in your giving.
Dedicate yourself to God,
Do what is pleasing to Him;
Giving Him honor and laud,
Blest by His spiritual vim.
Do not conform to this place,
Changing the way that you think;
Then the Lord will shine His grace,
Through the blood of Christ you drink.
Decide what God desires,
What is pleasing and perfect;
Anything He requires,
For His kindness to project.
Please think not of yourself,
As more highly than you should;
Put conceit on the back shelf,
So His thoughts are understood.
Your thoughts should lead you to use,
Good judgment as based on God;
Believers should not abuse,
If you want to stay unflawed.
We are all a part of Christ,
One body tied together;
Allows to be sacrificed,
Connected to each other.
No soloists in His band,
But having different gifts;
From the conductor command,
To share as each one uplifts.
Christian faith devotes to serve,
For encouraging all others;
To be able to preserve,
For your sisters and brothers.
