You know all about my teaching,
And all about my way of life;
My purpose and love of preaching,
My patience enduring the strife.
You know of the persecutions,
That my belief had to occur;
I keep looking for solutions,
Ways to construe as to infer.
Those who try to live godly ways,
Because of believing in Christ;
Sooner or later someone strays,
Since evil people have enticed.
Fake preachers go from bad to worse,
As they mislead other people;
The longer they will spread the curse,
By using an untrue gospel.
Continue in what you have learned,
For you know who your teachers were;
Knowledge and wisdom you have earned,
Through the confidence you incur.
Since your infancy you have known,
All about the Holy Scriptures;
Your knowledge and wisdom has grown,
Protecting you from the vultures.
It gives you power from wisdom,
And be saved through your faith in Christ;
That is flowing from His Kingdom,
For everything sacrificed.
The Bible is inspired by God,
All Scriptures useful for teaching;
For using to honor and laud,
Along with training when preaching.
Use them to point out your mistake,
Correcting you to help your life;
Forgiveness God will not forsake,
When confession rids you of strife.
