How majestic is Your name,
Throughout the entire earth;
The best way for to proclaim,
How priceless for all its worth.
Your glory is sung in Heaven,
From the mouth of each child;
How each of us is given,
A gift that not defiled.
You have built a new fortress,
To silence avenging foes;
And calming our distress,
Secluded where no one knows.
As I look up at Heaven,
Creation of Your fingers;
Knowing I am forgiven,
My life no longer lingers.
The moon as well as the stars,
That You have set up a place;
For curing me of my scars,
While feeling Your embrace.
What is a mortal to do,
That You will remember him;
Always as sincere and true,
With joy as not to feel grim.
The Son of Man You took care,
Lower than Yourself was made;
But in Your glory You share,
For in Him it will not fade.
You have allowed Him to rule,
What Your hands have created;
Though many ridicule,
He has not deviated.
All are under His control,
The beasts of the land and air;
As well as every soul,
And fish in the deep down there.
O Lord, splendid is Your name,
Excellent throughout the earth;
I continue to proclaim,
Showing others Your true worth.
