Important Words

The Word of life existed,
Justly from the very start;
And has always consisted,
About what we should impart.

We have seen and we have heard,
We have observed and could touch;
Reciting every word,
In your heart meaning so much.

We have seen and testify,
For this life has been revealed;
Knowing we cannot deny,
About what these words do yield.

I am reporting to you,
About this eternal life;
Which has been revealed as true,
Removing you from the strife.

This is life from the Father,
That we have heard and have seen;
Making Christ our Brother,
Who can make us pure and clean.

I am reporting about,
To have a relationship;
And never having any doubt,
To speak His Word from your lip.

I am writing with such joy.
The message we heard from Christ;
Of peace and love to deploy,
Inspiring and enticed.

If we say that we love God,
But still we live in the dark;
We cannot honor and laud,
And lie on where we embark.

But if we live in the light,
Then the truth will be within;
We will do then what is right,
And cleansed from every sin.

If we confess our sin,
A faithful just God will forgive;
Through faith and belief within,
We will eternally live.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart. His love for Christ and God is an inspiration to all who read his poetry.
