Arrogance produces dispute,
Causing your mind to pollute;
But those who will take advice,
Gain wisdom that will entice.
Wealth as gained unlawfully,
Will not see life cheerfully;
But he who gathers de jure,
Is not tempted by a lure.
Delayed hope makes your heart sick,
Like a highway that is slick;
But a fulfilled desire,
Will make a blazing fire.
If you hate the Word of God,
Giving not honor and laud;
You shall be seeing His wrath,
A tollgate upon your path.
But if you do fear the Lord,
You shall then get a reward;
For following His commands,
Able to meet His demands.
The teachings of a wise one,
Like fountains that have begun;
Pouring out living water,
To birth a son or daughter.
A good sense brings you favor,
From our Lord and Savior;
But the unfaithful will stray,
On a dangerous pathway.
Those sensible with knowledge,
Not always went through college;
For they have learned from the Lord,
How to stay in one accord.
Desires reached sweet to the soul,
Because you have met your goal;
Walk with people, who are wise,
As to see life through their eyes.
