Rejoice in the Son

Anyone who believes,
That Jesus is the Christ;
Knows that each one receives,
Life from the sacrificed.

For God loves each child,
Just like He loves the Son;
So tender and mild,
Since it had all begun.

The Father loves you all,
Asks children to obey;
Catching you when you fall,
Brings you back when you stray.

All have been born from God,
Victory in this place;
If remaining unflawed,
The Father will embrace.

There is no mystery,
By keeping your belief;
Faith wins the victory,
For Jesus gives relief.

The Son is Jesus Christ,
From the water and blood;
And stop being enticed,
By the crimson flood.

Accept testimony,
From witnesses who see;
Their eyes are not phony,
Seeing what had to be.

Those who do not believe,
Has made God a liar;
Death is what they receive,
In the lake of fire.

What God has given us,
Has been eternal life;
This life is found as thus,
Will free us from strife.

It is life in the Son,
Proclaiming with your voice;
What the Father has done,
So in the Son rejoice.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart.
