This is a message we have heard,
From Christ that was as told to you;
With knowing it comes from the Word,
It is always good to review.
God is light, no darkness in Him,
If we have a relationship;
Then we should not be feeling grim,
Able to build a partnership.
If we are living in the dark,
Then the truth has not been within;
And everywhere we embark,
Has been corrupting us with sin.
If we are living in the light,
In the same manner as with God;
Then we will do all that is right,
And take time to honor and laud.
A partnership with each other,
Through the blood of Christ the Son,
Calling Christians our brother,
Knowing exactly what was done.
Blood of the Son cleanses inside,
Our sin of every kind;
So we are free so we abide,
Purity of the heart and mind.
If we say that we have no sin,
We are deceived without the truth;
Having all corruption within,
Being arrogant and uncouth.
For God is faithful remains just,
And if we confess our sins;
As well as putting our trust,
And our new life then begins.
But if you do not change your way,
The perfect tyranny will start;
All because you have gone astray,
As fire will engulf your heart
