Beyond Labels

By faith we have approval,
As well as having peace with God;
Confession makes sin removal,
Blessings when we honor and laud.

All because of what Christ has done,
So we are able to approach;
For our Lord Christ is the Son,
Who is our mentor and coach.

Through Jesus we can approach God,
As we will stand in His favor;
Even though that we have been flawed,
Jesus Christ is our Savior.

So we brag of the confidence,
Through the glory that we receive;
Knowing Christ is our defense,
Because the fact that we believe.

We also brag of suffering,
Because it creates endurance;
Through Christ who is a buffering,
In boosting our confidence.

It is building a character,
Within never to be ashamed;
For Christ is our instructor,
Every day we have proclaimed.

As His love pours into your heart,
A flowing love through His Spirit;
A reflection that will impart,
With all your thoughts and your merit.

So while we were still helpless,
Christ had died for the ungodly;
To show His love able to bless,
A compassion that is broadly.

Broadly to die for is so rare,
Especially all of the sinners;
For the courage through love we share,
Making each of us big winners.

Forgiveness blocks failure and pride,
Beyond all labels that we hold;
Showing honor as we abide,
Continue to let life unfold.
