In view in all that we share,
For the compassion of God;
You show that you humbly care,
Giving Him honor and laud.
So I urge you to offer,
Yourself as a sacrifice;
While serving each other,
Since Jesus has paid the price.
As a living sacrifice,
Dedicated to the Lord;
Letting this world not entice,
Rather its pleasures ignored.
Do what is pleasing to Him,
Worship as appropriate;
Zeal with a spiritual vim,
Through prayer as you meditate.
Be not like the people here,
By changing the way you think;
Keeping your heart and mind clear,
Staying away from strong drink.
Then you are always able,
To know of His desires;
That they are firm and stable,
And what it requires.
Required to be perfect,
Of what is good and pleasing;
Never trying to neglect,
Joy that is never ceasing.
The kindness that God has shown,
Brings the thoughts of good judgment;
Pleasing what He will condone,
For being in alignment.
Devote yourself to serving,
Encourage others as well;
So their minds are not nerving,
To relax them where they dwell.
God has given each a gift,
Helping you and your brother;
To inspire and uplift,
In helping one another.
