The Lord has called on you,
As if you were a wife;
In grief and feeling blue,
With problem in your life.
A wife who married young,
And feeling rejected;
A sad song being sung,
Feeling so neglected.
The Lord abandoned you,
For just a brief moment;
But He will bring back to,
Ease pain from your torment.
The Lord has hid His face,
In a burst of anger;
But compassion through grace,
For pain that does linger.
God is your defender,
With eternal kindness;
To fight a contender,
From wicked blindness.
So now God swears an oath,
Not to anger through wrath;
Rather help you through growth,
On the straight and thin path.
Though the mountains may move,
As the hills just might shake;
But He will not remove,
The kindness for your sake.
His promise is of peace,
That will never alter;
Compassion will not cease,
And will never falter.
The storm ravaged city,
He ensures to rebuild;
Because He takes pity,
So your faith is instilled.
Your children will be taught,
To have infinite peace;
Everything as sought,
Making wisdom increase.
