Vital Prayer

I have written this to those,
Who believe in Jesus Christ;
So that each one of you knows,
Just why He was sacrificed.

Know they have eternal life,
With the confidence that God;
Help guard you against the strife,
And cure you where you are flawed.

Confident that God does hear,
Listens to us what we ask;
Gently calms down our fears,
When undertaking a task.

We know He hears a request,
And talks to us as we sleep;
Suggesting things as we rest,
Clinging to a dream to keep.

So we have what we did ask,
Living in sync with His plan;
While those who will wear a mask,
Follow only rules of man.

If you see a believer,
Committing a deadly sin;
Pray to oust the deceiver,
And for cleansing them within.

You should pray that God would give,
That person a renewed life;
Having them confess as to live,
And to protect them from the strife.

This is true to those who sin,
Committed till their last breath;
If no remission within,
It will lead to certain death.

I am telling you to pray,
Confess on every wrong;
Learn how to trust and obey,
To prosper and to live long.

So all those who have been born,
From God will avoid sinning;
So while you still sojourn,
God ensures you are winning.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart. His love for Christ and God is an inspiration to all who read his poetry.
