Walk with God

The Lord gave me a chance,
For spreading the Gospel;
About Christ to advance,
Belief from more people.

But I did not have peace,
Flowing throughout my mind;
For the trends would not cease,
Of some not being kind.

I had to say goodbye,
To the place I was born;
Move to a land that I,
Decided to sojourn.

But I thank God, who leads,
Us into victory;
Expectation exceeds,
From that of history.

Wherever you may go,
Whatever you may do;
God is there and will know,
If your actions are true.

God uses us to make,
What it means to know Christ;
He will never forsake,
What we have sacrificed.

It is like a fragrance,
That is filling the air;
Giving you the guidance,
Of the Gospel to share.

We are the scent of Christ,
That is walking with God;
Others can be enticed,
And will honor and laud.

Those of who are now saved,
And those who are dying;
No longer be enslaved,
If they are complying.

Maybe a deadly scent,
To others in the dark;
Since they did not repent,
From whence they do embark.

But some smell it as life,
Aroma that is pure;
A fragrance that takes strife,
Away to reassure.
