Hidden Treasure

If you take my words to heart,
And treasure all my commands;
You will then have a good start,
In avoiding sinking sands.

If you pay close attention,
And let your mind comprehend,
Allowing intervention,
For the wisdom to attend.

If you call out for insight,
And ask for understanding;
You will be seeing the light,
To what things are demanding.

If you search for the wisdom,
As possibly being cash;
Follow it to the kingdom,
You will be finding the stash.

Then you are able to see,
What is the fear of the Lord;
And knowledge of God will be,
Acknowledged and not ignored.

For the Lord will give wisdom,
From His mouth into your mind;
Flowing down from His kingdom,
If you are humbled and kind.

Priceless wisdom is reserved,
For those with integrity;
A shield that one is preserved,
In worthy prosperity.

In order to guard the path,
Of justice and watch the way;
The righteous are spared the wrath,
While they trust and obey.

You understand what is right,
What is a good course in life;
As the just and fair is bright,
So you can avoid the strife.

Wisdom will come in your heart,
As knowledge will be pleasing;
Never allow it to part,
Or knowledge will be ceasing.
